If you are planning multiple devices on one site, the LoRa gateway with cellular is often the better long-term option. At NZ$10 per month after the first included year, one gateway can handle many connected devices, so you avoid paying a separate cellular subscription for every tank. That keeps the site simpler and usually cheaper once you move beyond one or two tanks.
The WiFi-backed LoRa gateway is the other strong option when the site already has reliable local WiFi. In that setup, the gateway uses the site network for backhaul and we do not charge ongoing fees for the LoRa / WiFi gateway itself.
